A little about me
I work in IT and I have a beautiful and funny daughter who turns three soon.
I love Luxembourg. I have lived here for thirteen years. I have a great deal of respect for it: for how it works, for how much it genuinely offers families, and for the fact that it makes room for people who arrived from somewhere else.
Why I started building
Every parent here knows the searching. Somewhere to pass on the clothes your child has outgrown. Where to take a toddler on a rainy Sunday. A shop where you can actually find the thing you are looking for. Someone reliable, ideally before Thursday.
We can work most of it out in the end, but I believe it shouldn’t take so much time.
Which is the whole idea behind Kannerlux: less searching, more time with your child.
Kannerlux gathers the everyday things into one place. Pass It On, for the baby gear your child has outgrown. Shops and venues worth knowing about, and services for when you need an actual human being. A forum, because sometimes you do not want a search result, you want a parent who has already survived that exact week. And this blog, for the longer stories.
It is free for parents, and it is staying that way.
